The Chris Weaver Band has just released their highly anticipated “LIVE in Brazil” Album.  The new record shows off a talented display of musicianship, incredible lyrics, that unmistakable voice of Chris Weaver, and a sheer mastery of live performance ability.  (It’s one thing to record an album, it’s an entirely different ballgame to do it LIVE)

Beginning with “Circus,” the Chris Weaver Band sets a tone for the song list that shows their lyrical genius, and punches with a driving beat from the drummer that will have you instantly tapping your foot and turning it up.  You should leave it cranked up because “Want It” is also included.

“Step right up this is one to see,
Grab your tickets and take your seat.
Like a matchstick dropped into gasoline
Get ready for the show.” – (Intro to “Circus”)

Immediately following is the ever popular “California High” which as of publishing this article has amassed well over ONE MILLION views on YouTube alone.  It’s safe to say, if you haven’t heard it yet, you should.

Throughout the album you’ll hear the added flavor of impeccable tonality from the trumpet, and some fantastic riffs from the saxophone which brings out the bluesy prowess of Chris.  Couple that with some organ and guitar and you have a level of musicality you just won’t get anywhere else.  Check out “Tear Me Up” and you’ll instantly know what we’re talking about.

The Grafton, West Virginia native gives recognition to his home state in “World Ain’t Big Enough” and “Guarantee to You” displays that powerful range in a slower paced tune that you’ll want to hear again and again.

As an added bonus, included is a medley of “This Love” and “Sunday Morning” made wildly popular by Maroon 5.

It’s truly difficult to talk about individual tracks in the album because they are all fantastic.  Check it out via the link below and find out for yourself.
